Hello classmates! My name is Regie. I came to Canada as an International Student. I started this blog because I was inspired by my uni friends. Since I'm one of the more "senior" students in our class, my classmates would often come to me for advise on how to fill out forms, pay bills online, write a resume, apply for a job, file taxes, find communities, etc. I'm like their real life WikiHow (including the weird and exaggerated poses and facial expressions) which got me thinking about writing a blog.

Being an international student can be daunting but it doesn't have to be hard. Thousands of people have succeeded in getting their degrees and eventually their permanent residence in Canada. And it's my goal to share what I learned from them to help you navigate your way around this new chapter in your life so you too can succeed. With the resources (and support) plus the right mindset, you can definitely make Canada your new home.
